How the wait list works ww home

The Waiting List is re-numbered after the pool closes in September. Families who have joined or dropped from the List are removed. In October, waiting families are notified by mail of their NEW # for the next swim season. Click here to view the wait list.

The new number assigned to each waiting family remains their number throughout the following summer. Families are called and offered memberships in order, starting with #1, as memberships come up for sale anytime from October through April.

Each family may decline a membership once, without losing their place on the list. If membership is declined on the first offer, you have the option to remain on the list for a second and final offer for the next season. If you decline twice your name is removed from the list.

In an effort to reduce waiting time, the Board of Directors has changed the previous policy of allowing two offers of membership. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, only ONE invitation for membership will be offered. Declining an offer of Membership will remove your name from the waiting list.

If you have CHANGED your address, phone, or email please notify the Wait List coordinator. If you are unable to be contacted due to incorrect information for two consecutive years, you may be dropped from the List.

How to get on the wait list

Please note: In 2007 people waited a full 9.5 years before being offered membership. Membership sales vary from year to year and those getting on the list now will likely wait longer than 9.5 years before being offered a memebership.

To put your name on the wait list send a note with your name, address, phone number and email address with a $40 non-refundable check made out to "Wedgwood Pool Wait List" to:

You will receive a mailed confirmation of placement onto the Waiting List. Your cancelled check is your receipt, please keep it with your confirmation letter. Annual # notification is mailed each October. It is your responsibility to notify the Wait List coordinator of any changes in your contact information during your wait via email or mail to the P.O. Box. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
